Team Alberta Tryouts

Team Alberta will once again head down south to compete in State Wars. It will mark the second time they represent Alberta in the tournament with the younger age groups
More than 90 players with birth years 1998-2005 attended Team AB try-outs in Red Deer on May 9th. Seven teams were formed. They are listed below. State Wars staff were present at the try-outs to hand-pick the teams with influence from Team AB coaches.

Additionally, Team AB will be sending a 1997 AAA and 20U teams. They didn’t have enough representation at try-outs, but will be filled via recruitment.
Team Alberta made the transition from the AAU Junior Olympics to the State Wars tournament last year, and didn’t skip a beat in terms of finding success in their respective divisions.
Five of six teams medalled, while the 1999 AA’s took home gold. Other team’s results listed below:

The 2015 Edition of State Wars will be the 11th in the history of the tournament and all the action will take place in St. Peter’s Missouri. The tourney will run July 29th-August 9th
