AMRHA 2015 Recreational Tournament a hit with Inline teams from all over.

The 2015 AMRHA Recreational Invitational Tournament featured over 25 teams competing in 5 age groups.
It was hockey hockey hockey all weekend as most teams played three games on both Saturday and Sunday. Six games in two days is sure to leave even the most conditioned roller hockey players a little gassed.
Smiles and fun times were a consistent element of the weekend, as all teams were there to go back to the roots of the game of hockey and just have fun. Win or lose, players were smiling and having a blast with buddies on their team and others.
Being only the fourth installment of the tournament, AMRHA is seeing success with the weekend affair, providing a healthy dose of both recreation and competition.
Traditionally, Red Deer has been the home of the tournament, but AMRHA execs are looking at possibly targeting a smaller market to build the game from there. Wetaskiwin and Didsbury are towns that have been tossed around as landing spots in the early planning stages for the 2016 edition of the tournament.
On Sunday, five champions were crowned in their respective age groups. Their team photos as well as action shots can be found under the photo gallery tab.
Next up for AMRHA, the Provincials. The puck drops on that tourney June 26-28 in Edmonton. Ages 8U right through to adult, both completive and recreational divisions. Registration closes June 17th so get your team in there!
