Alberta Power Ranking, June 12

June is always a good time for a power rankings update, with the Recreational Tournament and the Battle on Wheels over it gives a very clear picture on Positions 1- 10. In U10, the Red Deer Snipers leaped over Sherwood Park for the 3rd set of rankings. They showed so well in Camrose that they had to be bumped into U12 for BOW. In U12 Sherwood Park slipped 4 spots as the losses are mounting against the local Edmonton Inline teams. The Edmonton Stealth and Spruce Grove Goons have been on a roll lately. With U14, the Bears jumped back to the first spot and Maddigan tumbled down to the 7th spot. Calgary Roller Hawks have had a hard time with some local teams lately and slid down to 6th. Not much has changed with the top 6 spots in U17, we will see what the Western Nationals has to bring in a few weeks. Junior division didn't have much movement except the Sherwood Park Wild finally gained the number one overall spot from the Solar Bears after 3 straight wins. With the Alberta Pro League finally starting their season on May 11, those 5 teams leaped to the top of the pack in the adult rankings.
